I’ve been so busy these past few weeks that I have, sadly, neglected my Project 365 😦 To make up for the many motivation-less days of this year, I’ll be posting some images. They do say that a picture is worth a thousand words.
If that isn’t enough inspiration to get you through the week, here’s a poem by Mariann Williamson that I heard while watching the movie Coach Carter.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people
won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And when we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Once again dreamland has prevented me from making my timely posts >.< Not to worry! Here’s post 14 and 15 for my Project 365 😄
Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily;even if you had no title or position.

Because I fell asleep last night >.< Here’s day 12 and 13 of my project 365 of motivational quotes 🙂
The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.
I have three precious things which I hold fast and prize. The first is gentleness; the second is frugality; the third is humility, which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle and you can be bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among men. Lao-Tzu
Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it. So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success.
-Thomas J. Watson
Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
Every artist was first an amateur.

Believe with all of your heart that you will do what you were made to do.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to post something yesterday. I got home and promptly collapsed into bed. So, here’s two inspirational quotes in one. Enjoy!
Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
